The use of solar blankets in ground pools by all major manufacturers like Bestway, Gre or Intex is recommended. There are various grades and thicknesses. A cover may increase the water temperature to 6-7 degrees in the first 40-60cm, once the water is mixed, this differential is reduced proportionally.
In addition to heat water during daylight hours, the covers have a dual function, as they reduce the temperature differential between water and atmosphere overnight and avoid cooling.
