Great effect repellent

It is starting to have effect 1 week after application.

1. Place the collar Scalibor on the dog's neck allowing for two fingers to go through between the collar and neck to allow the collar to touch effectively and release the active ingredient.

What is leishmaniasis?

Leishmaniasis is a serious disease caused by the parasite leishmania and is potentially fatal to your dog. Leishmaniasis is transmitted from the bite of a phlebotomine mosquito that is commonly called sand fly. It is estimated that 2.5% of all dogs in Europe are already infected by this parasite.

Leishmaniasis can present many disorders, some very severe, such as thinning, skin lesions, eye injuries, arthritis and can affect vital organs such as the liver or the kidneys. Dogs do not have to present all these symptoms but in the case when affecting the kidneys or liver this disease can be fatal.

The bite of sandflies usually occurs between late spring and early autumn, although they can take present themselves during all the 12 months of the year.

Sizes

The 48 cm collar contains 0.76 g deltamethrin per collar, and is suitable for small and medium sized dogs.
The 65 cm collar contains 1.0 g deltamethrin per collar, and is suitable for large dogs.

We recommend replacing the Scalibor protectorband collar after 6 months to make sure that a continuous and safe protection of your dog.
