The combination of materials with which it is made creates a transparent film that works to eliminate and repel by constantly applying a suitable dose which will protect your dog during 8 months without interruption.

The collar contains active ingredients that act against fleas and ticks in two ways:

It eliminates fleas and prevents larvae from developing.
It eliminates the ticks and repels them, and therefore avoids them from stinging. It is effective against eggs, larvae and adult ticks.

The function of the collar is very simple and effective at the same time:

The collar contains a polymer matrix where the active ingredients are found.

When you place the collar on your dog, the matrix releases an ideal dose of the active ingredients right into the layer of fat that lies between the skin and the hair.

The active ingredients are distributed evenly throughout the dog's body creating a transparent film that protects the dog from fleas and ticks in a very effective and safe manner.

How to apply the Seresto collar from Bayer:

To place the collar on your dog you should make sure to leave room for 2 fingers between the collar and the neck. In this way you guarantee a maximum comfort for the dog and you make sure that the product is applied correctly. Once adjusted correctly, cut off the remaining part of the collar leaving only a couple of cm.

Serestro is the best flea and tick collar you could buy. My dog is out in wild shrub every day on our walk, he's a Sprocker so loves long grass and the ticks love him, with this collar they don't get a chance to infest him, and he has never had fleas in 5 years.
