The origin of the peat bog without, accumulations of ancient moss decompose and become peat. Peat is an organic sponge substrate with ideal properties for cultivation.

Composition:

100% sphagnum peat

: Physicochemical properties

PH 4 5.5

Electrical conductivity: <100mS / m

The peat can be used as the sole substrate for growing certain species.

Anyway the best utility is to enhance substrates mainly composed of inorganic materials, i.e., sand, clay, etc.

Its effect improves the density of the substrate, its ability to store water oxygenation.

It is perfect to enhance our garden, adding each year before planting a certain amount to the old substrate.

Great shopping experience, item was very quickly processed and sent, extremely quick from Spain to UK! The service is exactly as you expect to receive- courteous and trouble free. If there was one thing I would comment on is I wish more packaging was used to protect item as it was sent in a large box which it just 'rattled' around in and could have caused damage to the product. Thankfully the outcome was good. I would recommend to everyone, dispite this minor issue. Thank you very much!
